Program Objective: Build a strong foundation for your makeup career in fashion, film, print,

In their first year, students work on small fashion shows and public performances. During their

Belgrade or Fashion Week in Nis as well as working backstage in theatres or on TV series and

films.

The Wellness and Spa Therapist program objective is to provide individuals with training in both

will learn:

Cosmetology, pursuant to the official license and approval of York University.

V Specialized Studies Program in Film and Special Effects Makeup

Purity Academy of Esthetics and Cosmetology offers a world-renowned one-year specialized

studies program in Film and Special Effects Makeup Studies. Upon completion of the specialized

studies, students earn a Certificate in Film and Special Effects Makeup from York University,

USA.

Program objective: Students will learn a variety of techniques and skills for creating special

effects makeup looks. They will learn highlighting, shadowing, old age makeup, applying bald

caps and understand wounds and learn how to research them; create realistic new bruises,

scrapes and scratches, plus intended and raised scars; learn how to create frostbite, burns, and

tattoos; work with prosthetics and blood effects, including foam gelatin prosthetics. Study blood

tubing, blood packs, zombie makeup, and learn how to make connections in the SFX makeup

industry.

Candidates who have completed the three-year makeup artistry studies at York University may

complete this Specialized Studies Program. Candidates who have completed their studies at other

institutions (makeup schools) are required to take an entrance exam consisting of the following

subjects determined by York University, USA: Theatrical Makeup, Painting and Drawing with
